We have a baby frog in the garden by trees but there is no water.  Do frogs have to live in water.  Do I have to provide water in a container .  Please advise.

We have loads of frogs that hop from a lake near our house - they do need water to survive (but so does any animal)
i dont think they have to live in water, but it is better for them not to get too dry or they will probably die. I think frogs are good at finding their own sources of water, so i wouldnt worry too much about the little chap.

hello nova jo, thanks for coments about frogs.  I am going to put a dish of water out as there is no streams or rivers or ponds anywhere near us.  I can only assume there is a water fountain in someones garden, but how do they get through  the fences.  Please tell me tell me what is a "bearded dragon"  a lizard I guess.
Where do you keep your animals nova jo?  I expect you have to keep them all away from each other.  Dont tell me that they are all friends.

hello  I am sorry to say that our young cat chrissie caught the baby frog aand brought it into the kitchen.  It looked a bit the worse for wear but it escaped, the  back door was open so we think it got outside.  We have lost it now unless the cat catches it again.  I hope it survives.
